High-level commission to probe land-related issues

KATHMANDU: The government has formed a four-member high level commission led by Mohan Shumsher Bhattarai to investigate the encroached-upon land belonging to government, public and trust.

Janaki Ballav Adhikari, Durga Dahal, and Jagat Bahadur Deuja are members in the commission.

The commission has to complete its report within six months. The cabinet took a decision to this effect in response to the proposal submitted by the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation.
