KATHMANDU: As many as 662 players are participating in eight games in the South Asian Games to be held in Pokhara.
Out of 27 items of games, paragliding competition is not likely to be held after the players except Nepal did not register for it.
A total of 401 females and 261 males from SAARC countries will be competing in eight games in Pokhara out of 26 games, informed Keshab Pathak, coordinator of SAG Pokhara Publicity Department.
A total of 172 officials will be participating in the competition. Host Nepal is participating in all the games with 52 males, 102 females and 30 officials.
