BHAKTAPUR: Nepal Communist party (NCP) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said efforts were made to weaken federalism for lack of knowledge about it.
Speaking at an orientation organized by Democratic National Magar Front Nepal at Kharipati of Bhaktapur on Friday, Chairman Dahal said that a factor had become active to make federalism a failure at a time when it had not come into implementation in an effective manner.
Racial, class and gender oppression were yet to be ended, he said, adding that he had to collaborate with the party that had once announced a bounty on his head in the past.
Similarly, Home Minister and NCP Secretariat, Ram Bahadur Thapa, said the task to form a new force was not initiated yet. Minister Thapa mentioned that it was necessary to transform Marxism, Leninism and socialism for country’s prosperity.
He further said that ideology, policy, action plan and strategy determined by the united party would be taken ahead in a strong manner. A total of 251 representatives across the country have been participating in a two-day orientation.
