Nepal-China relation high and firm like mountains: PM Oli



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Monday said that Nepal-China ties are based on mutual pride, respect and assistance.

Speaking at an interaction between Nepal Communist Party’s top leaders and Chinese Communist Party (CCP) on Chinese President Xi Jinping’s ‘thought and principles’, Prime Minister Oli said that relation between the countries is high and firm like mountains.

“We respect sovereignty, freedom and geographical integrity of each other,” he said, “Our friendship is based on mutual pride, respect and assistance.”

To take part in the interaction, a delegation led by Chief of the International Department of CCP Central Committee Song Tao had arrived in Kathmandu on a three-day visit on Monday.
