Nepal Communist Party ‘not to accept’ Prabhu Sah’s resignation

KATHMANDU: The ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) said it ‘won’t accept’ resignation of Province-2 Chairman of the party Prabhu Sah.

“His resignation has not been accepted yet,” said NCP Spokesperson Narayankaji Shrestha, “Party is serious in some issue raised by him and is preparing to convince him to withdraw his resignation.”

Expressing dissatisfaction over the failure of the party leadership to create an environment conducive for forging party unification in the provincial committee, Sah had tendered his resignation with NCP Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

He was infuriated further after some people who were not even party members were appointed as provincial members without consulting him.
