Husband arrested for ‘raping’ his wife



BHAKTAPUR: Police arrested a person for allegedly raping his wife in Bhaktapur.

Acting on a complaint of his wife registered at Metropolitan Police Range Bhaktapur, police arrested the husband.

According to Rewati Raman Pokharel, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) the husband, 30, currently residing in Changunarayan municipality and a permanent resident of Ramechhap, was arrested after his wife lodged a complaint of rape against him.

DSP Pokharel informed that they had tied the knot some 10 years ago and has an eight-year-old son.
