Two killed as eight vehicles collide after truck overturns



HETAUDA: Two persons were killed when a truck bearing Indian registration number turned turtle hitting eight other vehicles at Hetuda Sub metropolitan City-15, Ratomate along the East-West Highway on Tuesday. Eight others have sustained injuries in the mishap.

DSP Yagya Prasad Bhattarai at District Police Office, Makwanpur said that the truck N-L-O-ID 8031 turned turtle after the driver lost control over the steering. Eight vehicles collided with the truck after it overturned.

The deceased is Sujan Kumar Dhakal, 30, of the truck Na 1 Ha 8824. The identification of the other deceased killed in the mishap is yet to be ascertained.

All the injured are receiving medical attention at the Hetauda-based Churehill Hospital.
