KATHMANDU: Coming June 9 has been fixed to display the bhoto (a jewel-studded vest) of Rato Machhindranath. Rato Machhindranath is the god of rains and good harvest.
A team of four astrologers belonging to Joshi community fixed coming June 9. The Machhindranath chariot will be towed from Lagankhel three days back to reach it at Jawalakhle on June 9.
The Machhindranath’s chariot is currently at Ititol of Lagankhel. It was brought there from Pulchowk.
