Modi says ‘voter ID’ is more powerful than terrorists’ ‘IED’



GUJARAT: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said power of “voter ID” is more powerful than Improvised Explosive Device (IED) of terrorists, Indian media reported.

Prime Minister Modi said this after casting his vote in Gujarat on Tuesday.

He appealed to people to come out to vote in the remaining phases of the Lok Sabha elections.

While arriving at the booth, PM Modi greeted thousands of people gathered on both sides of the road. After casting his vote, he said, “Indian democracy presents an example before the world.” (Agencies)
