Infant killed in fire, three houses gutted

MUGLIN: An infant died in a fire at Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality-2 of Chitwan on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as Shiva Chepang, six-month-old son of Ram Chandra Chepang. The fire damaged houses belonging to Ram Chandra, Ram Krishna Chepang and Deepak Chepang, said a teacher Gyan Bahadur Praja.

The incident took place at 2:00 pm and the locals brought the fire under control. A team of police from the Area Police Office, Muglin, has headed towards the incident site, said Police Inspector Nabin Budhathoki.
