Trump terms House’s impeachment delay ‘so unfair’

WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump has criticized Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of House of Representatives for delaying to send the articles of impeachment against him to the Senate.

Trump labeled it as ‘so unfair’, a few days after he was impeached by the House.

He said that Pelosi adopted the delaying strategy as she has ‘no case.’

He criticized her for violating the Constitution, and called Pelosi “crazy Nancy.”

On December 18, the Democratic-controlled House voted to impeach Trump.

He is, however, Trump very unlikely to be removed from office by the Republican Party-controlled Senate because.

A two-thirds majority vote is needed in the Senate for a conviction on impeachment charges. (Agencies)
