Deuba lambastes govt for hijacking rights

POKHARA: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has accused the government of hijacking the rights of several sectors as the judiciary, the media, among others, one after the other.

The president of the main opposition made this charge while inaugurating the annual general meeting of Nepal Democratic Lawyers’ Association. Also the former prime minister, Deuba charged that the government attempted to even make the Constitutional Council its puppet.
