Federalism will not backtrack: CM Poudel



KAVRE: Chief Minister of Province No 3 Dornami Poudel has assured that the federalism set up in the country will not back off under any circumstances.

CPM Poudel reiterated,” We are effortful and determined to institutionalize federalism. None should think of making federalism a fiasco in the country.”

Stating that it was the responsibility of the people’s representatives to further strengthen and institutionalize federalism, Poudel asked one and all not to give in to the misleading information doing the rounds among the public that the three-tier governments had not delivered anything yet.

He shared that the provincial government had formulated 45 of the 99 laws to enforce the constitution and enact the Acts.

Province Assembly member, House of Representatives members, chief of the local units in State 3 and officials of the District Coordination Committee are participating in the worship that aims to enable the participants to identify the prospects of constructing pride projects, formulating its procedure and explore possibilities.

In the workshop that was inaugurated on Saturday by Minister of Communications, Information and Technology Gokul Prasad Banskota, Minister Banskota provided an orientation of the ‘Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali: Concept, Status and Challenges’.
