Nepal, Georgia agree to waive visa fees

KATHMANDU: An agreement has been reached between Nepal and Georgia to waive visa fees for diplomatic and government passport holders of both countries.

An agreement was reached in this regard during the secretary-level meeting held between the two sides at the Foreign Ministry on Monday.

Foreign Secretary Shankar Das Bairagi and his Georgian counterpart Archil Juliasibl signed the agreement in presence of Foreign Minister Pradeep Kumar Gyawali.

Meanwhile, the foreign secretary of Georgia paid a courtesy call on Foreign Minister Gyawali this afternoon.  On the occasion, matters relating to various aspects of Nepal-Georgia relations as well as mutual interest and welfare were discussed, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
