Flights at Bharatpur Airport canceled due to rain

BHARATPUR: Flights at Bharatpur Airport have been canceled on Saturday due to rain, according to the Civil Aviation Authority Office, Bharatpur.

“Poor visibility has affected flights. There needs to be visibility up to 5,000 meters to operate flights. But there was visibility between only 1,000 to 2,000 meters today,” said Keshab Lamsal, deputy manager of the office.

Eight flights were being operated from the airport on a daily basis, he said.
