KATHMANDU: The weather is generally cloudy in the eastern and central regions with chances of heavy rains. It is raining heavily in the Kathmandu Valley, hitting the holidaymakers. The monsoon set in Nepal yesterday.
According to Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) the weather will be generally cloudy in the eastern and central regions and partly to generally cloudy in the western region. Light rain or thunder and lightning possible at some places of the central and western regions and light to moderate rain is likely to occur at many places of the eastern region.
Likewise, partly to generally cloudy weather is forecast throughout the country. Light rain or thunder possible are expected at many places of the eastern and central regions and at a few places of the western region.
