94 pharmacies face music

KATHMANDU: The Department of Drug Administration has taken action against 94 pharmacies across the country. According to the Department, they have been taken action for operating  against the set standards.

Of those facing action, 58 pharmacies have been warned while 16 have been blacklisted. A total of 17 drugstores have been suspended and a case has been filed against three pharmacies.

They have been charged for operating without registration, selling banned drugs, and some have been charged for running without taking license among others.
