NCP holds Secretariat meeting postponing Standing Committee meet



KATHMANDU: The ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) is holding a Secretariat meeting of the party postponing the Standing Committee meeting for a few hours.

General Secretary Bishnu Poudel said that the meeting was postponed after he expressed his view on the statute amendment and contemporary politics.

All the members of the nine-member Secretariat except Prime Minister KP Oli are present.

Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal is slated to answer the questions raised by the leaders at the Standing Committee meeting following the conclusion of remarks by the leaders on a political dossier.
