By-elections: EC prints 52 types of ballot papers



KATHMANDU: The Election Commission (EC) has printed 52 types of ballot papers for the November 30 by-elections.

The upcoming by-polls will elect 52 lawmakers and officials at the federal, provincial and local levels.

According to EC, they have printed different types of ballots for each of the positions as the number of candidates vary in all election constituencies.

The EC said that Dharan sub-metropolitan city will have the biggest ballot paper since it has altogether 23 number of candidates for the Mayor.

Nepal Army has been entrusted to supply the ballot papers and other election-related documents to the voting stations safely.
