Local wind likely to bring rainfall

KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division has forecast light rainfall in some places in the eastern hilly region in the country owing to local winds in the next 12 hours.

Meteorologist Manju Basi stated that most the places throughout the country witnessed weather change because of local and westerly wind on Wednesday.

According to Basu, a few places in the hilly regions are likely to get light rainfall in the next 12 hours.

Likewise, Kathmandu Valley is expected to record the temperature as low as zero degree this year.

The temperature is gradually declining across the country.
