Austrian Foreign Affairs Minister arrives in Kathmandu



KATHMANDU: Dr Karin Kneissl, Minister for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs of Republic of Austria arrived in Kathmandu on a three-day official visit to Nepal.

She arrived in Kathmandu, Nepal’s capital this afternoon at the invitation of Nepal’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Pradeep Kumar Gyawali leading a 13-member delegation.

The two ministers are scheduled to hold talks on February 22. On the same day, Foreign Minister Gyawali will host a luncheon in honor of his Austrian counterpart.
Austrian Foreign Minister Dr Kneissl is scheduled to meet with Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Oli tomorrow.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, she will participate in a talk program organized by the Institute of Foreign Affairs (IFA) on ‘Sixty years of Nepal-Austria Partnership: energy, regional and global trends ‘ and articulate Austria’s perspective.
