Ward chairman dies in Chitwan



CHITWAN: Ward chairperson of Bharatpur Metropolitan City, Chaturman Gurung, died on Saturday at the age of 58.

Suffering from cancer, Gurung died while undergoing treatment at Old Medical College, Chitwan, said Spokesperson of Bharatpur Metropolitan City, Arun Pidit Bhandari.

Gurung was elected to the post from the then CPN (UML). He was survived by a wife and three sons.
