Japan, South Korea agree to resolve feud



TOKYO: Japan and South Korea have agreed to initiate dialogue to resolve a feud over compensating Korean wartime workers.

Speaking after talks with South Korean counterpart Kang Kyung-wha, Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Kono informed that both sides shared similar views over the dispute.

Kono said that he wants to make progress towards resolving the matter. He added that they were able to talk in an adverse situation which he claimed could lead to progress to resolve the problem. (Agencies)
