Number of patients from diarrhea outbreak in Dadeldhura reaches 81



DADELDHURA: The number of  patients caused by diarrhea has gone up in far west district Dadelhura.

The diarrhea which broke out around a week ago has affected 81 people at Jamarani in Parshuram Municipality-8. The epidemic has gradually spread to Kosankhola, Dhandalifant and Guptigada, said Ananda Kumar Yadav, chief of Sadani Health Post.

Ishwari Bhusal, incharge of Dadeldhura Laboratory, said confirmed that 81 locals including a pregnant woman and seven children have been hit by the disease.

Of the total diarrhea patients, five have been referred to Jogbuda Hospital. A case of diarrhea was first seen on July 14.
