3 die as helicopter crashes in Uttarkhand



NEW DELHI: A helicopter carrying relief material to flood victims in Uttarkashi has crashed on Tuesday evening, Indian media reports have said.

The helicopter was flying to Moldi from Mori in the district when it crashed killing all three people on board.

The deceased have been identified as Pilot Rajpal, Co-pilot Kaptal Lal and a local named Ramesh Sawar, reports said.

Officials have already reached the accident spot.

More than 16 people were killed in flood and rain-related incidents in the Uttarkashi districts last week. (Agencies)
