KATHMANDU: The Himalayan Airlines, Nepal’s private carrier, is starting its Kathmandu-Dhaka direct flight from Monday.
The airlines is starting its Kathmandu-Dhaka flight with an aim to facilitate the influx of Bangladeshi tourists visiting Nepal. Vice-President of Himalayan Airlines, Bijaya Shrestha informed that there would be three flights in a week between the two cities.
The aircraft with H9 678 call sign will fly from Kathmandu at 11:10 am local time, as per the schedule, and will land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 13:10 pm according to the Bangladeshi local time.
The aircraft with call sign H9 679 will fly from Dhaka to Kathmandu at 2:10 pm local time of Bangladesh the same day and will land at the Tribhuvan International Airport at 3:20 (local time), he informed.
Himalayan Airlines will operate its A320-214 narrow-bodied aircraft in the route with eight premium economy class and 150 economy class seats. It will offer 20 kg in the premium economy and 25 kg of baggage allowance in the economy class.
