NUWAKOT: A man was killed after being electrocuted in Suryagadhi Rural Municipality-5 in the district on Saturday.

Local resident Bishnu Rai accidentally touched a live power line while fixing a cable, said inspector Bishnu Hari Phuyal. Rai died at the district hospital.

The process was underway to conduct a postmortem of Rai’s body, and investigations were on, raid Phuyal.
