JAJARKOT: Four districts in the far-west have been deprived of regular power supply due to the delayed construction of the 132-KV transmission substation.

The construction has been delayed due to hassles relating to environment impact assessment (EIA) and lack of clarity on cost estimate, authorities said.

Similarly, the Kohalpur-Jajarkot 33-kv transmission line has been facing problems in power supply due to the placement of a substation on a longer distance than of the required.

Likewise, power supply to Dailekh, Surkhet, and Rukum west has also been affected due to the same reason.
