Rajiv Kumar Jha bags Prabal Janasewashree award



KATHMANDU: The government has honored Professor Dr Rajiv Kumar Jha with ‘Prabal Janasewashree’ award on the occasion of Constitution Day on Friday.

Jha received this coveted award for his contribution to the research field.

Jha, who is based in China for the last 23 years, is the director of China-Nepal Friendship Medical Research Center of Professor of Rajiv Kumar Jha, established in Xi’an Medical University in China.  The China government had established this center in Jha’s name at the cost of Rs 50 million.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had inaugurated the research center during his first official visit to China.

China’s Shanxi Province in 2015 had conferred a ‘100 Talent’ tile on Jha as a youth scientist.
