Nationality weakened due to Communist govt: Dr. Shekhar Koirala

POKHARA: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala has said that nationality was in peril owing to immaturity and arrogance of the Communist government.

Speaking at a program here on Saturday, Koirala said that the nationality has weakened due to the incumbent government.

He said that Nepal’s image in the international level has been tarnished due to each and every activity of the government.

“What the Communist leaders are trying to portray by inviting the son of Venezuelan President along with ministers? What message has been sent at the international level?” he questioned.

Addressing the first district council meeting of Nepal Trade Union Congress, Kaski, Koirala said that it was necessary to protest against the government from street and parliament.

Also speaking, NC central member Chandra Bhandari said that it was said that Communists are taking advantage of feuds in the party.
