RJP demands to unveil Lal commission report

KATHMANDU: During Monday’s meeting of Parliament, lawmakers drew the attention of the government on contemporary issues.

Lawmaker Chanda Chaudhary was allowed to speak after lawmakers of Rastriya Janata Party (RJP) stood up from their seats in protest soon after Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara began the meeting.

Saying false complaints filed against different persons during Tarai-Madhes agitation should be withdrawn and RJP’s demand of constitution amendment should be addressed, Chaudhary demanded to unveil the report of probe commission formed under the coordination of former judge Girish Chandra Lal.
