Police open fire to arrest gangster Bishnu Tamang  



KATHMANDU: Police have opened fire to arrest gangster Bishnu Tamang alias Kale from Tokha in the Capital City on Monday morning.

Tamang, who was in police hit list for his alleged involvement in some six crimes, has sustained bullet injuries in his right leg. He is undergoing treatment at Bir Hospital.

Acting on a tipoff, police had reached Tokha to arrest Tamang at around 8 am this morning.

SSP Sahakul Thapa at Metropolitan Police Crime Division said that police fired in defense after Tamang aimed at police with weapons.
