Nepali Congress to press govt for MCC endorsement



KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) said it will exert pressure on the government to get the agreement related to the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) endorsed through the Parliament.

A parliamentary party meeting of the party held in Singha Durbar on Thursday said the agreement reached while its president Sher Bahadur Deuba was prime minister is in favor of national interest.

Meanwhile, Government Spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gokul Baskota has said MCC would be endorsed by the Parliament’s winter session.
