Rapist gets life in prison



DAMAULI: District Court Damauli sentenced Nabin Thapa of Byas Municipality-7 to life imprisonment for raping a five-year-old girl.

Hearing the case on Wednesday, Judge Durga Prasad Dhungel issued the verdict slapping Thapa with life imprisonment along with a fine of Rs 400,000 in compensation.

On July 17, Thapa had raped the girl and was arrested the next day was being tried for the case since August 9.
