Cabinet reshuffle rests with PM Oli: Dahal

KATHMANDU: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Tuesday said the task of cabinet reshuffle rests with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

Dahal’s response came at a time when the discourse is doing round that the cabinet reshuffle is getting delayed due to differences between Dahal and Oli.

Issuing a press statement today, Dahal reiterated that the right to reshuffle lies within the purview of the prime minister, dismissing the reports that it was getting delayed due to him.

Oli and Dahal had held talks on the cabinet reshuffle at Baluwatar yesterday evening.

According to NCP sources, NCP’s secretariat meeting has been called for Wednesday. It is expected that PM Oli will take a final call on the cabinet reshuffle following the meeting.
