BIRATNAGAR: Vitamin ‘A’ drops are being administered to children between six months to five years across the country today and tomorrow.

Accordingly, all preparations for the same have been completed in State no 1, according to the Ministry of Social Development.

Along with the Vitamin A capsules, anti-worming tablets will also be administered to the children today and tomorrow, said Community Nursing Officer Kesu Kafley at the Health Division of the Ministry.

The anti-worming tablets, however, will be administered to children above one year old. The Ministry targets to reach out to 442,802 children for Vitamin A and 389,933 for anti-worming tablets in the State.

Accordingly, 8,970 women health volunteers are being mobilized to complete the task in two days, adds the Ministry.
