PM Oli lays foundation stone for new PM residence

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Thursday laid a foundation stone for a new official residence of the prime minister being built in Baluwatar, Kathmandu.

While laying the foundation stone, PM Oli said that the new building is not for him but for new prime ministers succeeding him.

“I am the 41st prime minister. Even the 241st prime minister of the country can live here. My tenure will complete till the building is completed,” he quipped.

PM Oli on Thursday had laid a foundation stone for a new parliament building.
