KATHMANDU: Agitating workers of Hyatt Regency in Kathmandu have resumed their work after the Labor and Employment Office (LEO) agreed to facilitate in addressing their workers’ demands.

The LEO has opened up a legal way, according to Mukti Dahal, general secretary of All Nepal Hotel Casino and Restaurant Workers Union.

Dahal said the agitating workers have resumed their work. The hotel management, however, is yet to resume operation, according to Dahal.

The hotel had stopped its operations following a dispute with the workers. The workers have alleged the management of allocating a few units of its share to the then government-owned Tara Gaun Development Committee.
