Trump launches re-election campaign



ORLANDO: US President Donald Trump has formally launched his 2020 re-election campaign.

According to media reports, he presented himself as a political insurgent who said is a victim of an attempted ouster by the Democrats.

At a rally in Florida’s Orlando, he said he would run for re-election as an outsider.

During the packed rally, Trump said he restored government by and for the people adding that the Americans have a long tremendous way to go and that the future has never looked brighter or sharper. (Agencies)
