Kompany leaves Manchester City

MANCHESTER CITY: Vincent Kompany has left Manchester City to become Anderlecht player-manager. The 33-year-old has signed a three-year deal with the Belgian Club Anderlecht.

He spent Manchester City for 11 years at Etihad Stadium. Out of eleven years, he spent eight years as a club captain.

Kompany played last game Saturday for City to win 6-0 in FA Cup over Watford. Kompany wrote on Facebook saying: “Doesn’t feel real”.
