Dahal asks local representatives to impart good service

KATHMANDU: Chairman of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has urged people’s representatives at the local level to impart good service to the people.

Inaugurating a newly constructed ward building of Lalitpur metropolis-26 at Dholahiti today, Dahal urged the local representatives to make the people feel that they were getting the best services from the local levels and their representatives.

Stating that the model of three-tier government was aimed at decentralizing the administrative power from Singha Durbar, he instructed the local level representatives to work for the convenience of locals.

On the occasion, he also said that budgetary constraint and lack of sufficient infrastructure have been hindering the development works at the local levels.
