Issuing a statement on Friday, he said that he bought the plot numbers 309 and 315 in Baluwatar by selling the land registered in his wife’s name. The land in Baluwatar has been registered in his son Nabin Poduel’s name.

The leader in the statement said that attempts are being made to misguide people on the issue.

Poudel has said that he welcomes and supports the decision of the government to bring the land back to government ownership.

“It’s my duty to support the government to annul the ownership registered illegally and to take action against those registering the government’s land in their names,” he said in the statement.
