APF rescues 3 stranded boaters from Fewa Lake



KASKI: A team of Armed Police Force (APF) on Thursday rescued three persons left stranded in Fewa Lake following a windstorm.

Acting on information that three boaters have been left marooned in the lake after water gushed into the boat, the team deployed at Fewa Lake Rescue Tower rescued them.

A team under the command of ASI Deepak Sigdel rescued Bolbam Chaurasiya, 40, Pundan Chaurasiya, 28, and Bhas Chaurasiya, 12, of Rajbiraj, Saptari.
