Kathmandu sets 186-run target for Expert Dhangadi

POKHARA: Kathmandu Golden Warriors has set a 186-run target for Expert Dhangadi Blues in the fifth match reduced to 17 overs under the Pokhara Premier League (PPL) underway at Pokhara Stadium on Wednesday.

Invited to bat first after losing the toss, Kathmandu Golden Warriors notched up 185 runs losing five wickets in 17 overs.

Skipper Gyanendra Malla top-scored with a century including eight fours and nine sixes off 38 balls, J Kolsawal made 46 runs including four fours and two sixes off 37 balls while A Shrestha hit 34 runs off 21 balls. The other batsmen could not reach double-digit runs.

In reply, KS Airee grabbed four wickets while DS Dahal claimed one wicket.
