Landslide kills child in Kavre



KAVRE: A child was killed after being buried by a landslide at Panchakhal municipality-4 in Kavrepalanchowk on Wednesday morning.

The landslide triggered by the incessant rain also buried a shop this morning killing four-year-old Dipesh Tamang.

The incident occurred when the boy was alone in the shop.

Security personnel, who reached the site soon after the incident with the help of locals, took about four hours to retrieve the body, according to chair Sundar Lama.

The family, originally from Jaisithok, was running a grocery shop at Dhobhan of the district.
