HONG KONG: Hong Kong leader Carrie Lam is set to address the city today following violent protests in the financial hub protesting an extradition bill.

Around two million people gathered on to the streets of Hong Kong on Sunday, seeking Lam’s resignation.

Lam has not appeared in public after the Sunday protests, which have been described as the largest in Hong Kong for decades. (Agencies)
