Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar worships at Pashupatinath Temple



KATHMANDU: Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has worshiped at Pashupatinath Temple today morning.

Sachin, a goodwill ambassador of the UNICEF, arrived here in Kathmandu to play the friendly cricket match organized to mark the 30th anniversary of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Dipak Raj Joshi, CEO of Nepal Tourism Board accompanied Sachin Tendulkar during the visit. Sachin, invited here by UNICEF Nepal, came to Nepal on Friday.

During his stay, Sachin played a 10-over cricket match against the team led by Vinod Das, former captain of the Nepali Cricket team.
