Five riffles recovered from Biplav’s home town

KAPILVASTU: Police have recovered five SMG rifles, magazines and live bullets from Shivanagar-5 of the district.

Shivanagar is the home town of General Secretary Netra Bikram Chand alias ‘Biplav’ of the outlawed Nepal Communist Party.

A police team under the supervision of Central Investigation Bureau recovered the riffles, 13 magazines and 390 rounds of live bullets from an abandoned suitcase.

The law enforcement agency has claimed that the arms belong to the banned outfit, adding they are further investigating the case.
