KATHMANDU: The names of 21 cadres of Netra Bikram Chand-led (Biplav) party CPN have been made public.

Police had earlier arrested 21 cadres, including Biplav’s elder brother Chandra Bahadur of the Biplav-led faction from a jungle at Rapti rural municipality 4 of Dang district.

Police also recovered arms and explosives from those arrested, according to the police.

Those arrested include Chandra Bahadur Chand, Rapti Bureau in-charge Keshab Bahadur Magar, Rapti Bureau legal department coordinator Ram Bahadur Thapa, office secretary Sabin Pokhrel, district in-charge Yam Lal Katuwal, district secretary Pradeep Wali, youth organization central president Babin KC, intellectual Sunil Poudel, people’s council member Ek Raj Chaudhary.

Likewise, Rajpur village municipality secretary Dhan Bahadur Bohara, former People’s Liberation Army Tilak Pun, Dalit Rastriya Mukti Morcha district president Suraj BiKa, member Hit Prasad Rokka, Rolpa member Post Man Gharti, Dal Bahadur Gharti, Amit Gharti Magar, Bal Krishna Sharma, Jit Chhetri, Ramesh Acharya, Kul Bahadur Wali and Bishnu Thapa.

They have been brought to District Police Office in Dang.
