Committee Chairperson Parashuram Meghi Gurung described the discussion as ‘imperative’ on the interrelations among the three tiers as provisioned in the constitution.

Discussions on the issue would be in the state level as well. On the occasion, Nepal Law Commission (NLC) Chairperson Madhav Poudel stressed on establishing a foundation for the coordination among the three levels to avoid any dispute among them.

Article 232 (1) of the constitution has stipulated that the interrelations among the three units would be based on the principles of coordination, co-existence, and collaboration.
